Payments
Use the card terminal and payment company you already have a contract with.
- Integrated card terminal at the counter (KICC; more terminals on request)
- Online card payment with NicePay, Toss Payments, KG Inicis, NHN KCP or PortOne
- The server checks its own total, so a card is never charged a different amount
- Unclear payments are checked with the payment company and cancelled if they cannot be recorded
- Refunds go back through the same payment company
- Mibnox never stores card numbers
Hardware
Mibnox runs in the browser and as a Windows app with silent printing and automatic, signed updates.
Windows PC or tablet
Windows app with an installer; also works in a modern browser.
Receipt printers
ESC/POS thermal printers over the network, USB or serial, with Korean text.
Barcode scanners
Any USB or Bluetooth scanner that types like a keyboard.
Cash drawer
Opens from the receipt printer when cash is taken.
Card terminal
Integrated VAN terminals, or a standalone terminal confirmed by staff.

What happens when the internet goes down?
Selling continues. Each sale is saved on the device and sent with a unique key when the connection returns, so the server records it exactly once. Online card payment needs the internet; cash and integrated terminals keep working.
